Purpose and goal

The aim of the project was to design a service to support and increases innovation capacity in collaborative critical Vinnova projects. The goal was to develop, test and distribute methods and processes to enhance collaborative capacity in innovation platforms, projects and public activities. The project has delivered a packaged service that has been tested together with public administrations and within Vinnova´s Processledningstöd.

Expected results and effects

The project´s work has led to comprehensive insight into how innovation platforms, projects and public activities work with collaborative innovation. These insights have raised understanding of how collaboration works in an operational context and have resulted in participating actors reflecting on the importance of how to interact and how this affects their ongoing investments in innovation but also other change initiatives.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has used Wexxas model for collaborative analyses and relevant research. The phases consisted of: - Feasibility study - Service development of model collaboration for innovation - Workshop with actors for the scope and objectives - Data gathering with survey tool - Analysis of data and interactive dialogue with actors working groups - Workshop and results with participants management - Service development of Toolbox - Insights to activities for business improvement - Pilot of the toolbox with one of the actors
