Purpose and goal
rt-labs has focused on traceability between artifacts in the design process and has developed a tool to create links between arbitrary artifacts in a project. Example of usage is to establish relevant relations between requirement, test cases and implementation.
Expected results and effects
Two separate tools were developed in the scope of the project: - Capra - a framework to create traceability. - ReqTool - a tool based on Capra to document requirements, test cases and implementation and its dependencies with traceability. Both tools are available publicly. See separate links below.
Planned approach and implementation
The research has been performed in close collaboration with Swedish and German companies. The project ran during three years and was divided into technical work packages and subtasks to achieve its goals.
