Important results from the project

The purpose of the Aluminum agenda is to create a strong and competitive metals industry in Sweden.

Expected long term effects

The mission has resulted in four deliverables: Vision, Agenda, Roadmap and the Final Report. The Vision work was a prerequisite for creating discussion and identify which areas of focus that may be relevant. The agenda is a result from the focus areas and controls the target areas. Goals and vision is the road map. Overall, there is now a good basis for the industry to begin action planning for future cooperation and development.

Approach and implementation

The project has conducted workshops and surveys. To ensure an up to date agenda that is well anchored, we chose the approach to first perform a visionary work of Swedish aluminum. The vision of the work we were able to identify which areas of focus that could be the basis for a future agenda and set a date and accepted vision that targets could be linked to. A goal setting was conducted on the basis of the focus areas (which later was redesigned and became Aluminium agenda). Vision, Aluminum agenda and objectives together provide a road map for the Swedish Aluminium.
