Purpose and goal

The project should have achieved a´proof of concept´, ie; A. The effect of the products to be proven under Brazilian conditions. B. The product characteristics (formulations) must fit Brazilian industrial engineering and logistics. C. The production is necessary to do in Brazil. Technology transfer and tests in a small scale in Brazil. The project is deemed to have met ´proof of concept´ since; effects are proven; foundation is created for how the technology will be developed and the method based on mobile Thermoseed technique is accepted.

Results and expected effects

The outcome from the project is already the basis for a continuation project. The project will further develop the Thermoseed technology into a complete mobile truck-mounted processing unit adapted to be housed in a container of the same type as used in shipping. The Brazilian project parties are willing to enter into a consortium.

Approach and implementation

The Swedish project partners have in addition to project management and coordination focused on the development of technology and the biological effects of the treatments. The Brazilian project partners have planned and started the field evaluation of treatments, taken care of adminstration tive issues in Brazil related condition, manufacturing, production, and marketing needs. They have also, together with the prospective client worked on issues of technology and established the concept with the customer so they are prepared to continue in the new mobile technology project.
