Important results from the project

The project has worked to strengthen the ecosystem for social entrepreneurship and through collaboration we have built a platform to engage and inspire on social entrepreneurship. During the course of the project, the platform has been a place for knowledge, inspiration and influence and has potential to function as a coordinator for activities and knowledge dissemination in the future. Through dialogue, events and collaboration, we have created a framework that the ecosystem can continue to develop and where our platform can continue to gather and strengthen the ecosystem

Expected long term effects

The Future Agenda - with 10 concrete measures for Sweden to take to strengthen social entrepreneurship - is a clear description of what the challenges for the sector are and what needs to be done, but it is also a tool for pushing the work forward with a common voice. The agenda, together with new knowledge about cooperation, political commitment, investments within the EU, impact measurement, and new financing tools, as well as the new platform we have created, has potential to strengthen the ecosystem and develop the sector.

Approach and implementation

To strengthen ecosystems, broad cooperation is required and it´s important to allow the process to take time. Running a project with 9 partners is demanding, but has generated close collaboration and a commitment to cooperation and a joint voice. The pandemic, war in Europe, election campaigns and economic crises have made meetings and external focus more difficult, but our societal challenges also create a commitment to potential solutions. Cross-sector cooperation is desired and coordination in the sector has been requested - this effort has laid a foundation for this
