Important results from the project
The project´s purpose and goal was to make financiers aware of their role in the transition to a circular economy, to create concrete proposals for financing solutions for how Product-as-a-service companies can find financing, as well as to show the possibilities with AI-based residual value prediction. These goals have been achieved.
Expected long term effects
The impact target - a faster transition to a circular economy - can not be expected to be achieved completely within the project´s time frame. The great interest in the project´s results (at the final conference, lecture requests, LinkedIn, etc.) shows that the project and the results already play a major role in the transition.
Approach and implementation
The project´s deliverables (11 according to the implementation plan) have all been met, with one exception, namely to present at the AoM conference 2021. Due to covid and the schedule of the conference, we have instead prioritized increasing the number of research articles (from one to three).
