Important results from the project

The Stockholm node works to ensure that AI Swedens´s offerings are useful in the ecosystem in Stockholm and that the challenges and expertise of these partners are included in AI Swedens activities. Kista Science City has been the host organization for the Stockholm node. The city of Stockholm, Stockholm Business Region, Region Stockholm, KTH, SU/DSV, Stockholm School of Economics and Karolinska Institutet participated in the establishment of the node, but KTH and Stockholms Universitet left in 2021.

Expected long term effects

The node has managed to attract and connect a good mix of partners to AI Sweden and engaged everyone in different operational areas and identified individuals with expertise to generate value for national strength and acceleration. The node has contributed in several different ways with both knowledge and commitment both regionally and nationally. We expect AI Sweden to remain involved in Stockholm area through the national office and partners in the area, but await the continuation of a node until the regional interest has increased.

Approach and implementation

The node has contributed to partner engagement through meetings, networks and workshops, but also nationally through the development of talent programs, tools and processes for AI maturity analysis and strategy work. Noden has also from time to time contributed with personnel within the Information-driven care and Space data program. The node has been central in building the networks around the municipalities through the city of Stockholm.
