Important results from the project

The project has largely met its objectives by establishing long-term relationships with actors in Singapore and creating a foundation for future collaborations on talent programs in AI. Important results also include knowledge exchange on talent programs, increased understanding of the needs of Swedish partners, valuable insights into SGInnovate´s work on talent programs, and exchange of speakers for, among other things, strategic work on talent and skills supply.

Expected long term effects

The long-term effects of the project include strengthened relations with Singapore, which could lead to more collaborations in AI for, among other things, talent programs. Increased knowledge exchange and insights into talent development strengthen AI Sweden´s and our ecosystem´s competence and ability to attract talent. Overall, this contributes to the long-term development of AI competence in Sweden.

Approach and implementation

The planning grant was used for a trip to visit actors in Singapore in the spring of 2024. We stayed well within the project time and the trip was done without unforeseen obstacles. Carrying out a visit to Singapore was the right activity because it led to deeper relationships between individuals and organizations and provided an opportunity to plan for talent programs with marketing and legal issues. An external factor that influenced was limited funding of implementing talent programs.
