|Project duration||October 2018 - July 2019|
Purpose and goal
Agenda Swedish Production brings together Expert groups and the Research & Innovation Council within the strategic innovation programme Produktion2030 with the Cluster Groups from the Swedish Vehicle Research Program (FFI). The goal is a common long-term and short-term national agenda for research, innovation and education in the production area.
Expected results and effects
In Europe, a number of strategic initiatives and analyzes of future research needs are ongoing. Parallell activities in Produktion2030´s expert groups and in the FFI Cluster Groups are complementary. Both can benefit greatly from a joint strategic project as a basis for further strategic initiatives. Structured cooperation between Produktion2030 and the clusters is beneficial for Swedish industry, reducing overlap and suboptimization. Expected effects is better strategic precision and less resource utilization for a common research, innovation and education agenda.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is executed in two phases. The first phase is parallel work for the Produktion2030 Research and Innovation Council, the Produktion2030 Expert Groups and the FFI Cluster Groups. The expert groups will analyze international agendas (5-10 years perspective) while the FFI Cluster Groups chart industry needs (2-5 years perspective). Phase two includes joint analysis and dissemination of results. A final strategic agenda will be presented at the FFI Cluster Conference in May 2019 and forwarded to recipients in the ministries, industry, universities, institutes and Vinnova.
