Important results from the project
The project resulted in a complete and well-established European research application in quantum-based pressure metrology. The goals were met by bringing together 20 partners from 10 countries and creating a strong collaboration between institutes, academia and industry. The work strengthened Sweden´s role as a coordinating actor in quantum metrology and laid the foundation for future European research and innovation initiatives.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to strengthen Sweden´s and RISE´s role in quantum-based measurement technology and contribute to a leading position in future European initiatives. The established collaborations with NMIs, universities and industry create long-term effects in the form of increased competence, stronger research networks, industrial benefits and increased competitiveness in quantum technology and precision measurement.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented according to plan with a focus on building a strong European consortium and developing a competitive research application. The work followed the schedule and included joint meetings, writing processes and anchoring with partner organizations. The collaboration worked very well and provided a clear structure, commitment and quality in the final proposal.
