Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to develop a common electronics and software platform that could be implemented in three different products: Advanced Personal Amplifier, Tinnitus masker and Hearing protection device. Despite two months of delay due to design improvements, the project has gone well and we have successfully achieved the goals of the project.
Expected long term effects
The prototypes have been tested against both, our own requirements at the start of the project and the requirements in various ISO and ANSI standards. The results of the conducted tests show that the products meet all the requirements of the various standards and our own expectations. Results from user tests have also been very positive. We have already established a dialogue with some international players in the field who will help us with the commercialization of products in a global market.
Approach and implementation
By parallel running some vital parts of the project, we were able to achieve fast and secure results. This project strategy proved to be very time and financially efficient for our project, in which very few people were involved. The results of each parts were returned immediately to the development of prototypes. We will apply this project approach in our next project.
