Important results from the project

Vi har redan från början satsat på ett nationellt initiativ i området med de fyra största akademiska institutionerna i området, tillsammans med tre kompetenscenter för Vinnova och två SSF-projekt. Den breda förankringen innebar att vi tillsammans med våra 20 partners i industrireferensgruppen kunde skapa en gemensam vision som nu är en hörnsten för den slutliga projektansökan. En viktig framgångsfaktor är det ömsesidiga förtroende mellan parterna som har utvecklats inom planeringsprojektet.

The mutual trust between partners mentioned is is a necessity for the further development of the final cluster and will have a large impact on the upcoming management of the cluster (if the application is successful of course). The cluster itself will have a very large impact on the are the next decades.

Approach and implementation

From start we had an international reference group established, and the first thing we focused on was to form an industrial reference group with 20 partners spanning different sectors, system providers, advanced large scale users, specialized companies, SMEs, institutes and innovation support organizations. Later we also formed a larger academic reference group giving input to the work. We have had four physical workshops with the team and the reference groups and regular online meetings
