Purpose and goal

The purpose of this project is to to prepare for a competitive application for the startup company Adsorbi to Eurostars. The company has developed an innovative biomaterial that captures air pollutants. Funding is required to commercialize the innovation, meanwhile, it is difficult to secure venture capital for startup companies with new materials. Adsorbi intends to submit a proposal together with relevant partners in the value chain for the first application in 2025.

Expected effects and result

At the end of the planning project, the following results shall have been achieved: 1) Updated prel. business model 2) Project partners identified and secured, 3) Engaged co-financiers of the project, 4) A high-quality application text. In a successful project, the Eurostars project grant is secured, which can lead to successful and accelerated commercialization of Adsorbi´s innovation. This, in turn, can lead to a greatly reduced climate impact from the air cleaning industry.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into work packages: 1) Update the business model according to price strategy, value proposition. This is a prerequisite for attracting future customers to the project. 2) Identify and secure partners for the project. Development partners, especially on the customer side, are a prerequisite for a successful project. 3) Involvement of investors for funding 4) Writing application text together with the consulting company Strata. Strata will also assist with guidance.
