Expected long term effects

Enhanced ability to monitor and control additive manufacturing processes and secure the quality. Significantly support additive repair opportunities, by providing options of adaptive control.

Approach and implementation

The workflow started with literature studies, after that an initial experimental part for basic understanding of the process and analysis of the data. Subsequent activities were several experimental slots for data collection and testing of sensors, with subsequent analysis and conclusions.
