Important results from the project

The project was to merge and develop three cutting-edge capabilities to enable marketing through Carmenta. This purpose was acheived: • Spacemetric´s Keystone software can now create video streams according to the STANAG 4609 standard • PandionAI´s AI algorithms can now distinguish and track different types of vehicles in video streams • Carmenta can now offer its customers Keystone software for processing video streams as well as PandionAI´s AI software for identifying and tracking vehicles.

Expected long term effects

The competitiveness of the three companies has increased: - Spacemetric can sell its Keystone software via Carmenta, and can offer STANAG 4609 image data processing - PandionAI´s AI software can be sold by Carmenta. The ability in AI-driven image data analysis has increased, providing new business opportunities in e.g. defence - Carmenta can offer its customers software for processing video and identifying and tracking vehicles. The conditions for future cooperation have been strengthened.

Approach and implementation

Spacemetric adapted its Keystone software for image data processing to the industry standard STANAG 4609, while PandionAI further developed its AI analysis. Carmenta provided recurrent requirements input and evaluations of results. The collaboration went well. Based on the project´s objectives, the "right" activities were carried out. It was not possible to conclude the project in time, but near enough. The main reason for the delay was unforeseen efforts in "real customer projects".
