Purpose and goal

The purpose for the project was to explore if and in what way it would be possible for Add Gender AB to organize an innovation competition, with the focus of actualizing the connection between profit and gender equality. The aim with the planning phase of the project was to fine tune the problem formulation for the competition, with the help of a project leader and a workshop that gathered relevant participants, and thereafter apply for financial support from VINNOVA for the competition. The aim has been fulfilled in accordance to the purpose and description of aims.

Results and expected effects

The workshop managed to gather participants from three different target groups: the individuals with this specific need, innovators and civicly engaged. The workshop resulted in a number of problem formulations for the innovation competition, which are the base for the next phase: applying for financing for the implementation of the competition.

Approach and implementation

During september and october, Add Gender has mapped the area of gender equality and profitability. We have also identified our need internally within the company and created a number of problem formulations for the innovation competition. We achieved this through a workshop in methods of innovation, which we did in order to map and analyse the need and interest among participants and the general public in participating in an innovation competition for gender equality.
