Project duration November 2019 - December 2020
Status Completed

Important results from the project

The aim of the activities at the National MetrologyInstitute (NMI) of Sweden for 2020 was to make available high competence by e.g. keeping the same number of CMCs (Calibration and Measurement Capability) in the database at BIPM as 2019 and thus maintain the same level of service for Swedish industry. Activities within the NMI of RISE covers Mass, Length, Volume/flow, Force, Pressure, Sound/acceleration, Time/frequency, ElectricityDC/LF, High voltage and microwaves, Photometry/radiometry and Temperature. See attachment.

Expected long term effects

The expected results of the NMI at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB is to fulfill all aspects described within the area of maintenance of standards with investment in reference standards and including participation in international comparison measurements according to a Mutual Recognition Arrangement, MRA.

Approach and implementation

Project plans and implementation are summarized in the original application for maintenance of standards and related investments in reference equipment. The activities within the NMI of RISE covers Mass, Length, Volume/flow, Force, Pressure, Sound/acceleration, Time/frequency, ElectricityDC/LF, high voltage and microwaves, Photometry/radiometry and Temperature and recognized in full in the 15 appendices that were part of the original proposal.Report of the results are attached here.
