Funding from Vinnova SEK 300 000
Project duration July 2022 - December 2022
Status Completed

Call Preparatory project for international proposal in health and food

Important results from the project

With the support from Vinnova, Acorai has created a competitive EIC proposal. To create a competitive proposal, an updated and long-term business plan has been prepared. Below some covered areas: Demonstrated developments and future plans Results of our own clinical studies Applicability of existing research for our product Acorai´s internal knowledge and experience in the industry Elaborated plan and arguments for how Acorai can create the next innovative solution in the industry

Expected long term effects

Acorai´s Design (Step 2) proposal was submitted by the deadline 5/10. The initial outcome was 7 of 9 GO. This means that Acorai has the opportunity to submit a new proposal and rebuttal to the 2 out of 9 "NO-GOs". As the NO-GO´s were centered on minor aspects of the submitted financial data, Acorai and our project partners have a strong belief that our new proposal and counter-evidence will enable the final "GO´s" to secure the next step in the EIC process.

Approach and implementation

Acorai´s project execution was centered around 4 WPs (Work Packages) as below: -WP1: Interviews with end customers and mapping of clinical evidence for future commercialization -WP2: Development of business plan -WP3: Gender equality & Mångfald -WP4: Creation of Proposal to EIC Accelerator Vinnovas support enabled access to critical external support for input and support both for business planning and the construction of EIC proposal.
