Important results from the project
This project where we have been able to directly allocate funds for managing early risks and validations has been very successful. It has led to a shorter time to the market, better basis for attracting financing etc.
Expected long term effects
The trust and the ability to directly fund activities for our companies in our incubator is and has been very cost efficient and successful.
Approach and implementation
Our internal implementation has been that companies and responsible business advisers have in collaboration come up with proposals and applied for funding for this to CEO of Arctic Business. Then we have regularly (monthly and quarterly) made decisions on the allocation of funds. Thereafter, the companies have had 3 months (or adjusted) to performa the planned taskt and give feedback results (if failed to performa plan, the loose funding and need to reapply).
