Purpose and goal
Our innovation platform addresses the challenge that the food that we put on our plate every day, should be sustainable, healthy, accessible to everyone and taste good. The aim for 2040, is that 9 out of 10 meals consumed in Sweden should be within the planetary bounderies. Working towards a bold mission inspire to accelerate the development of new solutions on the supply and demand side to enable a sustainable transformation. The platform will address the protein shift, to achieve our objective we welcome collaborations with actors within and outside of today´s food system.
Expected effects and result
There is a lot of potential to use new technology to develop attractive, healthy and sustainable products and concepts. The result of this project is to build an innovation platform that addresses the challenges: Food that is sustainable, healthy, accessible to everyone, tastes good and includes the protein shift and that can connect actors from the entire value chain. The platform is aimed to be designed to facilitate collaborations, build on available experience to drive development forward.
Planned approach and implementation
The creation of the innovation platform will start by identifying a clear mission that can engage actors. The work will start with foresight, actor mapping and scenario workshops together with actors both within and outside the traditional food system. The work will take place iteratively in a workshop format. By starting from design thinking, a broad perspective will be considered with new angles, needs and challenges for the platform to work on. Within the project, we will identify project ideas that can be used to evaluate the platform´s design in the next step.
