Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to complete and submit an ERC synergy proposal. The goal has been achieved with the proposal being sent in at the beginning of November.

Expected long term effects

It is hoped that the project will result in an ERC synergy grant. This would involve massive external funding. This funding would be used to understand the interactions that take place in our cells, how they are affected by, for example, disease-related mutations, and potentially the identification of new targets for drug development.

Approach and implementation

The project has been led by Ivarsson, with the support of a bioinformatician. Zoom meetings have been held with international partners, and analysis and writing have been carried out as planned. The schedule has been kept and collaborations have worked well.
