Important results from the project
Through the program, we have not only learned what it means to be a defense supplier, but have also become one by receiving our first order and delivering it. We have created a huge network to build on.
Technically, we have improved our current product and by the end of the project can detect small drones at twice the distance as at the beginning. In addition, we have developed a requirement baseline and a concept for a new variant that even better meets the wishes of the users.
Expected long term effects
We predict that the defense sector will be our most important activities within two years. This project laid the foundation for developing the company and the product offering to add this new activities in parallel with our previous civil product development and sales. We see good synergies between the business areas and expect that our civil offer will also be greatly strengthened through this expansion.
Approach and implementation
The project was largely carried out as planned. The biggest difference from the plan was that a larger part of the tests were carried out with others instead of carrying them out entirely by ourselves, for example at WARA-PS, at the customer and at other stakeholders. The interest from the outside world was significantly greater than we expected at the start of the project.
