Important results from the project
The project´s objective was achieved through new contacts with potential customers and partners, as well as increased knowledge of the Canadian market. Energy Node presented its passive heat management material, Heat Node, and participated in a panel on the battery value chain. The participation increased the company´s visibility and created the conditions for continued dialogues about pilot projects, collaborations and future expansion in North America.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to contribute to future pilot projects, commercial collaborations and Energy Nodes´s establishment in North America. In the longer term, this could increase the use of Heat Node for more efficient heat management in batteries and electronics, with potential to reduce energy use and resource requirements and extend product lifespan. The contacts could also create opportunities for the company´s growth and Swedish exports.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented through participation in Sweden–Canada Innovation Days in Toronto on October 5–9, 2026. The plan was to develop customer and partner contacts and increase understanding of the Canadian market. Relevant contacts and market insights were created through company meetings, networking, and participation in a panel on the battery value chain. The activities supported the project´s objective and laid the foundation for continued follow-up on possible pilot projects.
