Effort on health and resilience will meet future societal challenges

New collaborations and solutions are the way forward to build a resilient, healthy and safe Sweden that is able to meet today's and future societal challenges in climate, health and geopolitics.

Two calls for proposals on the same theme

In the spring of 2026, Vinnova will launch an effort with two calls for proposals in health and life science, food systems, community development, preparedness and civil defense. The aim is to develop innovative solutions and collaborations to strengthen society's resilience and adaptability in various ways. The public sector, business, academia, research institutes and civil society are invited to contribute with knowledge, perspective and implementation power.

One of the calls for proposals has a national focus while the other is internationally oriented. Together they make a difference for Sweden's resilience and competitiveness.

In total, Vinnova is investing SEK 50 million in 2026.
