The projects will support through a new effort from Vinnova, \"Start your AI journey\", where small and medium-sized enterprises and the public sector gets funding for its first innovation projects in AI. These are demonstration projects that use AI based on machine learning for new advanced features.

It is part of a larger package of several investments that Vinnova is making to advance Sweden's position within AI.

- This effort provides the opportunity for organizations to implement their first AI project and thereby increase their competence in the field. The development of AI is quick and both the private and public sectors need to be better at taking advantage of the great opportunities it creates, says Daniel Rencrantz, head of department at Vinnova.

The projects receive funding from Vinnova with up to half a million SEK each.
