Plastic pledges are joint commitments where companies, authorities and others actors collaborate to create concrete changes along the plastics value chains. By gathering the actors needed to reach a common objective, the conditions for real transition and increased circularity are created.
The day begins with a webcast launch of the Plastic Pledges initiative. You will gain knowledge about Plastic Pledges as a tool for circular economy and sustainable plastic use, and inspiration from actors in the industry.
During the day we will also hear more about the first three plastic pledges, which are in business packaging, wind power and reusable lunch boxes.
The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and Vinnova also present the work on an upcoming government plastic pledge, where authorities come together to support and enable the transition.
