The 2026 edition of Nordic Singapore Innovation Days brings together founders, investors, family offices, incubators and public innovation actors from across the Nordic region, all with a shared commitment to climate benefit, deeptech and cross-border partnerships.

Agenda

During the days, we explore the Singaporean innovation landscape, visit key players, and meet to share knowledge and collaborate with peers and partners to strengthen future innovation ties between our regions.

  • Site visits & Lab crawls
    Study visits and lab crawls at some of Singapore's most central innovation and startup environments. You have the opportunity to meet leading innovation players, startups and research environments and gain a deeper understanding of Singapore's innovation system and international collaborations.
  • Nordic Singapore Innovation Days Inauguration
    The official opening brings together Nordic and Singaporean key players in innovation, entrepreneurship and internationalisation. The agenda includes panel discussions, a startup pitch competition and an innovation exhibition.
  • Corporate Matchmaking and investor dialogues
    A central part of the program during the trip is tailored matchmaking between Nordic companies, investors and larger companies in Singapore and Asia through 1:1 meetings, corporate matchmaking and investor roundtables.
  • Participation on SWITCH
    SWITCH is Singapore's leading innovation and tech event, where global startups, investors, companies and decision-makers gather to discuss future technologies, innovation and international business opportunities.
  • Networking events and relationship building activities
    Throughout the program, October 26–30, activities will be arranged that strengthen relations between Nordic and Singaporean actors and create opportunities for long-term collaborations and business contacts.

Matchmaking

During the trip, matchmaking will be organized between Nordic companies, investors and larger companies in Singapore and Asia.

Travel grants for SMEs to support international cooperation

Swedish SMEs can apply for a travel grant from Vinnova, Sweden's innovation agency, to participate in the delegation. The grant covers costs for travel outside Sweden to meet potential partners or participate in meetings and conferences identified by Vinnova.

The grant amounts to SEK 25,000 for travel outside Europe. The grant amount may be lower and the number of funding granted is limited. The selection may be competitive. For more information, contact katarina.bennich@sisp.se.

To qualify for the travel grant you must:

  • Have participated in the Nordic Singapore Innovation Day digital matchmaking session hosted by Ignite Sweden
  • Have concrete follow-ups with Singaporean actors and market traction
  • Be mature enough to scale your product or service internationally
  • Be a small or medium-sized enterprise according to the EU definition
