The call for proposals is designed as a phased process where the projects, which may have a significant degree of uncertainty, test hypotheses and develop solutions for the aviation system of the future in three consecutive phases. The projects will address challenges in future scenarios that require cross-functional and cross-disciplinary solutions. Scenarios will be developed by Vinnova and include different combinations and variations in the areas of flight envelope, humans in the system, innovative production methods and resource availability.
