Sweden has significant mineral resources, strong industrial expertise and good conditions to contribute to a sustainable supply of metals and minerals. At the same time, the world around us is changing rapidly. New and stricter regulations, increased eligibility requirements on information and traceability, changing market conditions and a changing risk picture are affecting developments throughout the value chain.
Swedish Metals and Minerals works in this context by gathering actors, capturing needs and initiating research and innovation efforts that respond to new challenges and opportunities. The seminar takes as its starting point how the program works in a changing environment and highlights examples of efforts that strengthen the ability to act as conditions change.
