Mats Wessman and Anna Manhem Laurin from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growtht will present the background, what has happened so far, what is going on right now and what is planned for the future.

There will be a total of seven seminars with different themes. At the next one, which will take place on December 11 at 10-11 am, Paula Kossack at Statistics Sweden (SCB) will show some new figures concerning international labor in Sweden.

Several authorities have jointly been tasked with attracting, establishing and retaining highly qualified international competence and other foreign labor which is important for Sweden's competitiveness. The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth is the coordinator of the task which is shared by the the Swedish Public Employment Service, Business Sweden, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Migration Agency, Statistics Sweden, the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Government Service Centre, the Swedish Institute, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, the Swedish Council for Higher Educationand and Vinnova.
