Singapore has one of the world's most well-developed healthcare systems, often praised for its efficiency. With a combination of public and private healthcare providers that both have a strong focus on accessibility, quality and affordability. At the same time, Singapore faces a tough challenge with a super-aging population where almost one in five Singaporeans is 65 years old or the elderly (similar to Sweden).
With a shrinking and aging workforce and rising healthcare costs, there is a need to transform healthcare by, among other things, leveraging technology and data to facilitate better decision-making and promote healthier behaviors.
To maintain its healthcare system, Singapore has adopted strategies focused on prevention and health promotion efforts aimed at including the entire population in becoming healthy and taking responsibility.
A delegation trip to Singapore is planned for 18-22 November. In preparation aim a webinar has been arranged. To access the recordings, contact Mikaela Annerling.
Another webinar will be held to increase knowledge about the healthcare sector in Singapore and how innovations are being implemented to support the healthcare system in its transformation.
To initiate dialogues before the delegation, digital knowledge sharing sessions will be held on selected topics. Do you have suggestions or thoughts on areas you are interested in? Would you like to know more about the delegation trip? Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
