Preparatory projects for the EU co-funded Raw Materials Partnership (RAMP)

Do you want to initiate or deepen collaborations with Nordic actors within the metals and minerals sector? Now it is possible for a range of organisations to build consortia and develop proposals for submission to future calls by RAMP or other calls under Horizon Europe and complementary programmes. This call is being administered by NordForsk, an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers, with funds from NordForsk, Nordic Innovation, Vinnova, The Research Council of Norway and Business Finland. Preparatory projects aimed at building or strengthening Nordic consortia and developing competitive proposals for submission to calls by RAMP or other calls under Horizon Europe and complementary programs.

Who can apply?

Nordic consortia consisting of partners from at least three different Nordic countries. Nordic countries are defined here as Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland Islands. The project coordinator needs to be a research performing organisation from a Nordic country (see details on the NordForsk call webpage).

How much can you apply for?

The maximum funding per project is NOK 1 000 000. Project owners, who will be funded by NordForsk, can apply for no more than NOK 400 000. Partners from SWE/NO/FI can apply for no more than NOK 300 000 from their respective national funding agency (Vinnova, The Research Council of Norway and Business Finland).
