What is the offer about?
The Smart Built Environment strategic innovation program is a platform that brings together actors active in the entire community building sector in aim of achieving the program's overall objective and effects for a more sustainable community building with digitalisation and industrial processes as enablers.
The purpose of the call for proposals "The innovation idea" is to increase the opportunities for small and medium-sized companies and small and medium-sized municipalities to develop ideas that can lead to innovations. It can also be about getting a chance to work further with previously developed ideas that need testing on a smaller scale before implementation and/or scaling up in daily activities. The call for proposals shall, in accordance with Smart Built Environment's objective, contribute to a sustainable development of community building. Digitalisation and industrial processes must be central methods in the work for the project that are granted support. The applications can address both processes, forms of collaboration, business models and technology.
In the normal case, project in this call for proposals are judged to be able to lead to the development of an idea to a higher level. The next step for the project may be funding of larger investments through Smart Built Environment's other calls for proposals, or through other capital investment. In exceptional cases, funding from this call for proposals is deemed to be able to lead directly to implementation.
