Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to prepare XIOS/3 for market entry by making the technology available to external users and customers. The goal of the project is to package the XIOS/3 technology as a service, accessible to developers through the cloud.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in the XIOS/3 platform being accessible as a service in the cloud and thus useful for customers and partners aiming to develop cloud applications that benefit from XIOS/3 and its Device Edge Computing capabilities, which contributes to reducing the environmental footprint and costs associated with providing cloud services.
Planned approach and implementation
The XIOS/3 technology will be packaged as a cloud service, Platform as a Service (PaaS), which becomes accessible to users through a web portal. This user portal will also contain relevant documentation and training material on how to use XIOS/3, as well as demonstrate the benefits of the development platform. Throughout the project, the platform will be tested and evaluated by potential users to collect relevant iterative feedback for improvement purposes.
