Important results from the project

The purpose of this VinnVerifiering-project was to create a solid foundation for the commercialization of a capacitive biosensor technology. By gathering customer/user feedback on the best way to design the product according to customer needs, our intentions were to evaluate the technology platform for capacitive measurements and clarify the full potential of this technology. Our plan with this information was to verify the manufacturing, delivery and sale of a scalable product that the market demands.

Expected long term effects

A key project result was to create a basis for and develop a business plan that can be used to find funding for the commercialization of the verified instrument in the chosen market segment clinical diagnostics. This comprehensive work also covered the verification of the business model/strategy and the skills required in the company to achieve success. Expectations were i.e. that after the duration of the project, to have developed a clear picture of how to produce and sell our instruments and the services should be linked to sales.

Approach and implementation

A process that has run throughout this project is the collaboration with a few carefully selected potential customers. Through the experiences from the developed prototype series weaknesses in the technology have been identified and addressed. We have also got an idea of the priorities of the customer groups that we have identified on a theoretical basis also reflects reality. Both the business and the organization is now in place along with a functional business plan that has been developed during the project . We are now ready to commence the commercialization of our product.
