Purpose and goal

Following our successful participation in Bio Korea 2024 and 2025, where we secured our first collaboration in South Korea with Daewoong, we aim to expand our presence in Asia by joining Asia Bio 2025 as part of the Swedish Biotech and Medtech Delegation. Our goal is to showcase the Salipro® platform, build a local network in Singapore where we have established IP rights, explore strategic collaborations with biotech and pharma companies and gain insights into the Asian life science ecosystem.

Expected effects and result

Under this trip we expect to gain valuable insights into the Southeast Asian biotech and pharma market, identify potential business opportunities and establish new connections with key stakeholders from the life science industry in Singapore. By showcasing the Salipro® platform, we anticipate initiating discussions with potential collaborators. This Vinnova grant supports our strategic expansion in Asia and strengthens Sweden’s global visibility in life science innovation.

Planned approach and implementation

Salipro Biotech will participate in Asia Bio 2025 as part of the Swedish Biotech and Medtech Delegation. We plan to engage in one-on-one partnering meetings, networking receptions, exhibitions, and study visits. We will actively request meetings with potential partners and prepare tailored materials to present the Salipro® platform. Our Business Development Manager, Lorena Galán, will lead all on-site activities to build connections and explore collaboration opportunities in Singapore.
