Important results from the project

We participated in the Austrian electronics conference EBSCON and visited a number of hi-tech companies in the region. Our objective was to make contacts for upcoming projects, as well as expand our network of subcontractors and potential customers. We received some publicity for our presence and thereby strengthened Epishine´s brand in the region.

Expected long term effects

In the long run, our ability to control our value chain will be crucial to our success. Through this effort, we have gained a better overview of what Austria can offer, which may influence future choices of subcontractors, etc.

Approach and implementation

Participation in EBSCON, a local industry fair in Austria, and study visits gave us a good insight into printed circuit board, component and chip manufacturing, which is particularly interesting as Epishine´s activities are indirectly dependent on electronics as our customers use these in their products together with our components. Good discussions on industry-wide challenges such as material and personnel supply gave further insights into how we can develop Epishine´s strategy in these areas.
