Important results from the project
The project´s objective, to plan, implement and follow up the conference 2021 was fulfilled.
Expected long term effects
All expected results were fulfilled: -Increased knowledge of Swedish mining innovation and research among different stakeholder groups -increased networking between different stakeholders -dissemination of SIP SMIs results -increased focus on and discussion of current issues concerning mining research and innovation
Approach and implementation
In addition to the presentations by SIP SMI-projekt, general lectures will also be given by invited speakers from industry, politics, academia and society. This part was linked to the industrial and societal challenges that the program addresses The conference was held in close collaboration with Svemins FoI-kommitte, and it was conducted as a digital event due to the pandemic.
