Purpose and goal
Sweden-California Mobility Professional Exchange Program (PEP) enables a deep knowledge exchange between key individuals in Sweden and California. By investing in key individuals who spend an extended period of time abroad and who are personally and professionally motivated, a significantly deeper level of knowledge exchange and relationship building is enabled. The project also includes a series of dissemination activities to share insights and knowledge built through the exchange.
Expected effects and result
Through the project,
- Four key individuals will develop knowledge of innovative methods in the other country.
- These individuals will become ´ambassadors´ of knowledge within their own organizations, capable of establishing further contacts between relevant individuals in both countries for future projects.
- Dissemination activities are expected to reach at least 200-300 individuals in total in the US and Sweden.
- This is a pilot project, which lay the foundation for a long-term program.
Planned approach and implementation
Within the project, a total of 4 exchanges will be carried out.
In addition to the actual exchange programs, a number of dissemination activities will be carried out to share knowledge and insights to a wider audience at home and in the actors´ home organizations.
The project is a pilot and will evaluate the exchanges that are carried out, and suggest how the pilot can be scaled up.
