Important results from the project
STRIM w ill execute asecond annual brokerage and matchmaking event combined w ith an idea competition aiming at stimulating SME´s to be more active in SIP STRIM activities and projects. The event was successfully conducted and several new actors were participating. Two winners were selecetd in the idea contest: Sustainalube AB: Environmental Friendly, Oil free, Lubricants och ThingWave AB: Enhanced Mining Safety by Rock Bolt Monitoring.
Expected long term effects
The following results and effects were achieved: 1. SME´s Encouraged to take part in STRIM 2. A meeting place for SME´s and latger enterprises w ithin the STRIM area of interest was created 3. The STRIM stakeholder netw ork were widened with several new actors.
Approach and implementation
The event was successfully performed and matchmaking and brokerage activities were combined w ith an idea contest where SMEs pitched their project ideas in front of a jury comsisting of STRIM board members. SMEs and researchers/innovators met and started dialogue w ith suitable STRIM stakeholders for further collaboration. This year the event was successfully performed in collaboration with EIT RawMaterials NCLC.
