Important results from the project
AI Sweden´s southern node has accelerated the adoption of AI in southern Sweden by strengthening the regional ecosystem, enhancing AI competencies, and promoting collaboration between stakeholders. The node has established a national AI lab for municipal data, conducted extensive training initiatives, and built valuable networks between public and private actors.
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in increased AI maturity among partners, with over 160 people trained in AI, and established collaboration structures. Eight AI talents have been trained and placed with partners. An innovative concept for knowledge sharing, AI Rendezvous, has been developed, and common guidelines for AI in municipalities have been established.
Approach and implementation
The project has been implemented through a combination of structured training initiatives, systematic partner support, and innovative forms of collaboration. Flexibility in execution has enabled adaptation to partner needs and new opportunities such as generative AI. Implementation challenges have been addressed through increased focus on knowledge sharing and practical support.
