Soft landing in North Sweden

Purpose and goal

The project is about collaboration to introduce young American companies to northern Sweden, with the support of the Swedish innovation system and our testbeds. We will promote the green transition, cutting-edge research, testbeds and innovation environments, so that American establishments in Swedish will happen. We will promote an interesting and relevant soft-landing offer, market it on site in the USA, receive a delegation of interested young American companies and individuals and finally deliver the offer to the companies or individuals who are interested.

Expected results and effects

The effects that we can see from the project are that there are companies from the US that take part in our "soft landing" offer, including innovation environments and test beds and that they contribute with their innovations or new innovation journeys linked to the challenges that we see within many sectors in northern Sweden, linked to the green transformation and societal transformation. In the long run, this should lead to more establishments of American companies in northern Sweden with a connection to the green transition.

Planned approach and implementation
