Swelife works to strengthen life science in Sweden and thereby contribute to improved public health. We do this by working long-term so that Sweden can offer good conditions for world-class health. We also work for a life science sector that is growing steadily and is competitive globally. In the nine-year evaluation, the evaluators state that "Swelife is an ambitious and well-managed program that is strategically important and that delivers".
Approach and implementation
The program coordination is responsible for program management and project support for Swelife. This has resulted in an efficient and effective organization that ensures that the activities initiated within Swelife aim to achieve the following long-term goals. The project includes operating costs which include salaries, travel, premises, etc. for program management and project support (strategic and operational portfolio work, finance, administration, communication and internationalisation).
