Purpose and goal
The Production Cluster annual conferences have been very successful since the start in 2010 and we now look forward to an even better and more well-attended meeting. Our vision is to develop economical and environmentally sustainable manufacturing systems that are capable of effectively providing the market with future innovative products. The target group is professionals production managers, production engineers and other R & D organizations that want to take advantage of the latest developments.
Results and expected effects
The expected effect is the dissemination of knowledge between industry and research within manufacturing.
Approach and implementation
We have arranged this event 3 years in a row with high participation. In 2012 we tried with a 3-day event, but this did not work out so well. 2013 year we invested in a two day long conferens and managed to engage all production clusters themselves holding a half-day session.
