Purpose and goal
The project´s aim is to strengthen the ability of innovation support to support entrepreneurs and researchers in the early team building. The goal is to further develop and quality assure PRE-STEP-verktyg linked to the TMRL scale (KTH Innovation Readiness Level), develop an AI-supported digital platform and lay the foundation for national rollout and long-term use in Sweden´s innovation system.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in validated and scalable PRE-STEP-verktyg linked to the TMRL scale. The impact will be more startups that go from idea to company faster, increased competence among advisors, improved diversity in teams and a national framework that strengthens Sweden´s innovation system and promotes sustainable entrepreneurship.
Planned approach and implementation
The extended pilot includes three stages: further development of tools, development of a digital platform with AI-support and testing with startups in the fields of breadth, deeptech and life science. The project is being run iteratively in collaboration with incubators, innovation offices and KTH Innovation ahead of a future national rollout.
