Purpose and goal

The project aims to develop concepts for modular power distribution for future servers with high energy density in 6G edge nodes, focusing on energy efficiency, minimal conversion losses, use of ±400V DC, advanced supercapacitors and liquid cooling, where the concepts will be designed, simulated, validated and documented to meet high power requirements up to 10 MW per pod.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to result in one or more concept for power distribution with modular components to future servers.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out in four phases: from requirements analysis to design, evaluation and final documentation of a modular power distribution system.
