Important results from the project

The project has focused on preparing the company for a competitive proposal to the EIC STEP Scale Up program. Preparations for submission have been made through work on stakeholder mapping, regulatory strategy, clinical trial integration, market strategy and reimbursement. The preparations have helped prepare for submission by ensuring competitiveness, leveraging previous achievements and alignment with both EIC STEP Scale Up´s objective and Acorai´s timelines.

Expected long term effects

The project was implemented through good project management, follow-up and stakeholder mapping, work on regulatory strategy and integration of clinical studies, marketing and reimbursement strategy, and preparation for a submission to the EIC STEP Scale Up program, with feedback and work from previous work packages. The effects of this are expected to be competitive applications and a strengthened company in the above preparatory work areas.

Approach and implementation

The project has been carried out through four work packages: 1) Project management and mapping (project management, project meetings, budget, mapping), 2) Regulatory strategy and integration of clinical studies (QMS, FDA´s TAP-programme, preparations for CE and FDA, integration and quality of clinical studies), 3) Market and reimbursement strategy (market entry, reimbursement models) and, 4) Development, review and preparation for submission (writing, discussions and feedback).
