Important results from the project
Creative solutions to abate the pressure on Earth require a new paradigm for development and a roadmap for stewardship of the planet. This paradigm should be informed by sensitivity to complex interconnected systems, and a fresh look at the linkages between such issues as consumption, population and ecosystems. The workshop will build momentum towards highlighting planetary stewardship for the Rio+20 Earth Summit (www.earthsummit2012.org/) and the Planet under Pressure conference (www.planetunderpressure2012.net/).
