Important results from the project
With physical experience design in combination with digital technology, the project is supposed to upgrade the Health Path concept and increase the use of the paths and stimulate better mental health. We have developed 5 different experience units that can fulfill the purpose. The goal of the project was to have a pilot path built by june 2022, and a plan for a running business. None of this is fulfilled as the business processes proved to be longer than we had hoped. However, the interest and insight about the need has proven to be great among the 30 municipalities and the companies we spoke to.
Expected long term effects
The results we can show are great interest from municipalities and companies. It is clear that more than we have identified mental illness as a societal problem, and restorative public environments as a partial solution to it. We had expected to have at least one pilot trail ready in June 2022 to evaluate the effects through surveys and interviews with users. We had also hoped to have a decision basis to be able to build a profitable business around the WalkScape concept and Hälsans Stig 2.0. The unexpectedly long business processes have overturned those hopes.
