MOVE Sundsbruk: Mobility as a value generator for future communities

Purpose and goal

The project will contribute to transforming the role of public transport from a mere carrier to an enabler of fair living conditions in Sundsbruk. The project´s objective: - Increase accessibility and quality of life for residents of Sundsbruk - Improve resource efficiency and strengthen collaboration - Create transferable knowledge and methods The project is a continuation of the foresight project "FORMEL 1: Unheard Voices for a Future Mobility affluence in Sundsbruk".

Expected effects and result

With increased knowledge of the value of mobility, a target group-adapted mobility package and innovative collaboration and business models, we approach a robust, needs-centered and fair transport system that is sustainable over time, even in economically strained situations. When public transport is a part of a coherent transport system where innovative and resource-efficient solutions are linked to reduce mobility poverty, accessibility increases and exclusion decreases, regardless of the car.

Broadened new situation: Conceptualize & test for mobility justice By coordinating and streamlining existing but underutilized mobility resources, involving the local community and challenging traditional planning structures, a mobility package for Sundsbruk is created, tested and evaluated.
